Space is (NOT) a luxury is the ironic slogan written beneath a raised bed that disappears into the ceiling, ready to give way to the space needed for daytime activities in this project of architecture and interior design.

A window frame extending onto the terrace can become the ideal extension of a long table when opened, and then disappear. A long folding table can become a large window when closed, and then dematerialize—an approach shaped by the flexibility an interior designer brings to compact living.
