A warehouse is transformed into a foundation archive. It requires numerous shelves, cabinets, and storage units. How can we preserve the historic building without compromising its integrity or being intrusive with new functions?

 
We created low shelving with a wall-like appearance. To give it a sense of lightness, we illuminated it with grazing lights that enhance the bricks of the wall, now freed from the plaster that covered them. At the entrance, the tap is reinvented as a holy water font, recalling the historical past and highlighted by the visible remains in the trapdoor below.
